Spike was born in Pensacola Florida almost 15 years ago!
He is a Green Iguana with with roots deep in the Caribbean. He is
almost 5 feet long including his tail (which makes up half his length, and
he weighs about 15 lbs last we checked. Spike is an omnivore, but
mostly he eats leafy green veggies and fruit, with only a little bit of
protein from egg whites. Being a reptile, he is 'cold-blooded' and
must regulate his body temperature using external sources, such as the sun!
One of his favorite things is to find a warm sunny spot and bask!
Spike is especially popular among kids who often thin they're seeing a real dinosaur, and he is very tame. He has disappeared on several extended walk-abouts, but fortunately he always turns up - he's kind of hard to miss! Spike's always glad to somehow make it back home, and after all his escapades his tail still remains fully intact. Spike only recently hooked up with Mr. Michael Brooke from Concrete Wave skate magazine, and turns out Spike is a perfect fit: He has all the essentials - Style, character, totally chilled in any situation, owns his own mini-ramp, he's fit, eats clean, and cruises his whole quiver of unique skateboards. Spike has been a guest on the Gregory Mantell Show, and has been featured in 2 other television productions and is very docile & chill on set. |

In fact he needs natural,
full-spectrum sunlight to properly produce Vitamin D to synthesize calcium.
As he warms up in natural sunlight, all of his colors come out and enrich,
and his personality warms up too. He is very friendly and loves to
hang out, especially on the Iguana ramp during killer skate sessions.
Every now in then he'll drop in too! In fact he has gotten a bit pampered and LAZY in his mature age. He
loves his home and managing the ramp, but he does like to wander and explore
every now and then, so we have to keep and eye on him.
